Mark,
There has been an increase in speed on my Steam downloads, but it is still capped at about 1Mbps. I'm not sure if that is how fast it should be going as I rarely use Steam. I've just checked my Xbox and it's complaining that my MTU setting is too low, that it should be above 1364. So I can't connect at all.
EDIT: I've reconnected to Xbox live and it's connected again now. Downloads are moving a little faster (not as fast as they used to though) and it's still hit and miss whether it connects to the marketplace and online games etc.

Hi Mark,
First impressions are good for me. I was getting 60KBps for days and days - just tried downloading a different game and it's going at about 750KBps - pretty much the full capacity of my DSL.
I'll keep an eye on it and report back to this thread if it reoccurs (of course it's not that often that I'm preloading a large game on Steam so it might be weeks before I know)
Thanks.

Just got home from work and logged into Steam, it's flying again 1.3Mb/s
Good work!
Although I will say was annoying to be continually told be Cust Serv that it wasn't an issue, when it clearly was...
However all sorted now!

My steam downloads are still running at a fine speed. However the overall responsiveness of the program has decreased since the DL speed fix. Also, all of a sudden seem to be unable to connect to the World of Warcraft updater, and sometimes even unable to use world of warcraft at all?! I've certainly not changed any settings on my computer. All a bit suspect really.
Also, I've been unable to connect to the League of Legends PvP.net chat, crysis 2 network and Call of duty black ops servers since today.

Yea same here.. Won't login to steam, ventrillo or rift.
Pretty much the only thing that's working are websites and they don't work half the time; it just took me 30 mins of refreshing to even load up the rift forums and it's still hit or miss whether it actually loads a thread.
