Having selected Pictures only to upload it promptly started uploading all my bookmarks. I paused the upload and quit Vstuff (removing the background task) but was unable to access and remove what had been uploaded. I was told the Vstuff service was temporarily unavailable but that didn't stop it uploading. To cap it it is nearly impossible to stop it uploading as it kicks off itself and resumes the upload at regular intervals.
I have removed Vstuff from Startup several times but somehow it keeps reinstating itself.
Do I need to Uninstall Vstuff?
I dare say that's what you get with Windows 7.

Well I'm running it on Win 7 64bit with no problems (other than the widely reported foibles of the interface, having to re-login now and then, etc.).
When you say you selected only pictures to Upload, was that via the "Automatic Backup" buttons, or via selecting a folder with the Orange "Select Files / Folders" button (see pic below):
The "Auto" buttons will backup the relevant type of file from anywhere on your hard drive (in the pic above they are all "off") whereas the "Select Files" option will backup all files in the selected folders. If I remember correctly the "Select Files" option will default to backing up your bookmarks, My Docs, etc. if you don't change it.
As for cleaning out the backup of files no longer selected for backup, it will happen automatically after a time (based on the "Archiving" setting on the "Advanced Tab" - see below) or you can make it do it for you by pressing the "Clean Backup" button (once you've deselected what you don't want) The Clean will take ages to think about it but generally does the job.
Hope this helps,
Keith

Thanks
If I remember correctly I only switched On/Off to select only Pictures, I don't recall using the the Orange Select Files/Folders.
If it was set to Select E-mails/Contacts then that would explain the problem.
This was the first tine I had used Vstuff in over a year having abandoned it the last time due to numerous problems.

Yes thanks - in part. It explains the bookmarks being uploaded.
The other problem about access is probably due to the fact that the service was supposed to be down according to Tech Support. Yet it was still uiploading.
Having once again removed Vstuff ftom Windows start-up - it has not reappeared.
Will try again when service reinstated.
